How and who will deal with it?

Dr. Kengor:

I whole-heartily agree with your assessment. Hindsight always seems to be 20/20; what if this or that, but the final outcomes have always been positive for the most part and some even positively delightful. After all, we are only human, and being human we do make mistakes. The heavy and almost unbearable costs have always been enormous. This is the biggest challenge of the twenty-first century, sacrifices well be required; will we be up to the task? Pervious generations have always been welling to make those sacrifices and meet those challenges head-on. Currently, to my despair, future generations just do not have the fortitude for making those sacrifices. My despair is based upon all the negatives rather than positives I feel and see daily.

It seems that every national election we've had in the last several decades has been described as the most important election in the history of America. They have all been important, but coming right down to it this election could well be what decides whether America maintains its place in the world as the most powerful, progressive, free, and benevolent nation history has ever known; or whether we will be relegated to a back seat in a world community capable of producing economic giants.

China has discovered capitalism and the staggering amount of underpaid manpower controlled by a totalitarian, heavy handed government makes it impossible for any free country paying decent wages to compete. China has to create millions of new jobs every year and there is no foreseeable let up in the amount of cheap labor or Chinese goods flooding the world's markets. On the horizon another potentially catastrophic problem looms; eventually the day will come when China will attempt to take Taiwan very possibly by military force. Taiwan is a U.S. ally. How and who will deal with it?

Russia is a society of haves and have-nots. The biggest concentration of billionaires on earth live in Moscow, while the average Russian struggles to make ends meet. Russia is becoming more arrogant and more militant with each passing day. How and who will deal with it?

Iran has made it known, they desire nuclear weapons and they’re intensions of using them. If Iran does obtain nuclear capabilities, there is no doubt they will use those capabilities and not for the good of mankind; but for its eventual and total destruction. How and who will deal with it?

The situation on our southern border becomes more serious and more complex with each passing day as Hispanic political power grows stronger. Eventually, when all the jobs have been gobbled up and we have several million disenchanted and unemployed illegal aliens roaming the streets of America, someone will be forced into taking some severe measures. How and who will deal with it?

The trouble among the trade unions and manufacturers will escalate as companies continue to outsource American jobs and the day will come when America will be forced into some degree of protectionism, NAFTA or no NAFTA. It will be a situation demanding political nerve, skill and iron will. How and who will deal with it?

The price of crude oil is spiraling out of control while America sets on top of untold millions of barrels of oil and trillions of cubic feet of natural gas; and has not built a new refinery or nuclear reactor since the seventies. The time will come when someone will have to stand up to the environmentalist’s for the good of America. How and who will deal with it?

Drug fueled violent crime is out of control and rampant on the streets of America.  Slaughter and mayhem is the order of the day in some sections and yet violent Hispanic gangs walk across our southern borders with impunity, their non existent "rights" championed by the likes of the A.C.L.U. How and who will deal with it?

The U.S. Dollar, which has always been the safest currency in the world, is losing ground to just about every other stable currency on earth, the Euro; the Japanese yen have all gained on the dollar. And yet the trade deficit continues to grow and a do nothing Congress with a very poor approval rating makes a piece of ordinary legislation look like a set of encyclopedias by adding their greedy earmarks and personal pork. They have no interest except their own and America suffers for it. How and who will deal with it?

One thing we should remember. This election is not just about choosing a President. It is about electing Congressmen and Senators who really care more about America than they do their stupid political party and getting themselves re-elected.

There are a few good men and women in Congress, but for the most part they are a bunch of corrupted and spoiled children fighting over nothing. There is no need to send a good man or a good woman to the White House or Congress, only to have their hands tied by that corruption. Those who refuse to fund the troops without billions of dollars of needless spending attached to it. That is stupid, dangerous and downright treasonous. Throw these corrupt clowns out, make them go home and work 40 hours a week for a living like the rest of us.

The war on terror is very real and ongoing; and something we will be dealing with for many, many years to come. There are those who claim they would immediately start pulling troops out of Iraq. Don't believe them! Once they have access to all the information and understand the consequences, they will change their mind. No one will begin immediately pulling the troops out of Iraq but they will have to deal with the war. How and who will deal with it?

It does not matter whether you are a Democrat, Republican, Independent, right, left, conservative or liberal, man or woman, black or white or brown or blue or red. Just remember that those are just labels. What are we really…We Are Americans…Freedom and Liberty are not free and will only belong to those willing to fight for it and if necessary die for it.

God Bless the Troops…

God Bless America…
